Description
Paula Delgado-Kling is in the unique position of having spent 19 years following around the subject of her biography. As a journalist and an author, she can provide valuable advice on writing biographies. She can discuss the challenges of translating live interviews into a nonfiction book. Her interesting insights include how she handled the volatile emotions of the person she was writing about, separated true facts from opinions, and navigated the flawed memories of her subject. In addition to practical writing advice, Delgado-Kling can also share the fascinating story of traveling to Colombia and connecting with a former member of a terrorist group to learn her story.
