M.R. Street is a native Floridian who, as she writes this note, is looking out her sliding glass doors at the magical paradise known as Ochlockonee Bay. She loves nature and magic and found these two elements connecting in surprising and serendipitous ways while she was writing THE CLADDAGH, a middle-grade fantasy set in Ireland. In addition to writing and publishing, M.R. enjoys being on or near the water, reading, watching JEOPARDY!, and doing art projects. She lives in Tallahassee and Ochlockonee Bay, Florida, with her husband, Phil, and their dog, Pilot. Her two adult children live nearby.
