Description
The importance of a picture book and the life-long impact it can have on a child cannot be underestimated. Often, in 500 words or less, a message of such significance and importance can profoundly and positively affect a child for the rest of their lives. This is not a theory, it is what I know after 12 years of writing picture books with messages of positivity, hope, and belief in oneself for children. I have been to over 1000 schools and I get emails almost every single day about how one of my books has impacted a child's life - from the child themselves, or a parent, teacher, or therapist.
Sometimes true change and self-help can come in a simple format that speaks to the heart and can be read in less than 10 minutes. I am lucky enough to have been gifted the words to 32 books that have helped children for the past 12 years of my career. I'd love to share my stories and some of my most impactful books, like, Jonathan James and the Whatif Monster, Cordelia, and Bob is a Unicorn and how they have not only changed my life, but continue to change the lives of those who read them.
