Emerald Coast Review Seeks Regional Writer, Artist Submissions for 23rd Anthology
Pensacola, Fla. – April 15, 2025 – Since 1989, The Emerald Coast Review (ECR),
published by Emerald Coast Writers (ECW), has proudly showcased the diverse voices of
regional writers and visual artists in a biennial anthology. This year, we celebrate the 23rd
volume, and we are excited to invite area writers and artists to share their creative work.
The publication will feature a rich collection of fiction, nonfiction, poetry, and visual art,
including contemporary, emerging, and experimental pieces. We are seeking the best of
local talent, showcasing the unique perspectives and stories of those living along the
beautiful Gulf Coast. We invite submissions from residents of Escambia, Santa Rosa,
Walton, Okaloosa, and Bay Counties in Florida and Mobile, Escambia, and Baldwin Counties in Alabama.
If you live on the Emerald Coast, we encourage you to submit your work and be a part of this exciting publication, whether you’re an established writer or artist or just starting. We
welcome all backgrounds and experiences.
To learn more about how to submit your work, please visit emeraldcoastwritersinc.org.
Submissions close on July 15, 2025. All accepted submissions will be announced in August, and the final publication will be released in October.
At The Emerald Coast Review, we believe in the power of written and visual storytelling to
connect us all. No prior experience is required—just show off your enthusiasm, creativity,
and unique perspective. We look forward to seeing your work and celebrating the rich
diversity of our region through your vision and voices.
