I am the author of ten books that fall into the dark psychological suspense/ southern gothic genre. One of my latest works, The Unkindness of Ravens was a finalist for the Silver Falchion Award for best Southern Gothic Novel at Killer Nashville 2023.
Decor/Costume
My booth design varies by location, but I typically keep a spooky, dark atmosphere by displaying a tall banner behind/beside the table with my books displayed on stands atop a dark table cloth featuring a runner inscribed with my name, the picture of a raven, and the words "dark southern literature at its finest". I also display a small replica of a raven, and a black hand that holds my business cards. Also on the table is a case featuring the metal books marks with various charms that I give away with each purchase.
