Description
The duplex, described as a combination of a sonnet, a ghazal, and the blues, is a new poetic form created by Jericho Brown for the 2019 collection The Tradition. In this generative workshop, we will study examples by Brown and others to learn the rules of the form. Then, with the topic of "home" in mind, we will practice the form according to these rules. Then, we will break the rules.
