I have two children’s books. One is called Miss Millicent Monarch…a Butterfly’s Tale. It describes the life cycle of the Monarch as told through the eyes of the “mother” butterfly. The other is Alfie’s Trumpeting Troubles. It’s a fantasy that describes the escapades of Alfie, a baby elephant, who loves to “perturb and disturb” the animals “all over the sunny savanna”. It’s teaches about a lesson to be learned of friendship and cooperation. Both are read-alouds for young children and can be used by parents and teachers alike. Both are carried on Amazon. They are also sold here in Fairhope at gift shops and The Grand Hotel.
Decor/Costume
My friend, Sarah Robinson, and I will be sharing a booth. We have l long utility table table which will be covered in fabric coordinating the colors with my book cover. I have two large rectangular laminated and backed posters about 12x18. I have a large stuffed elephant which is usually place by a table leg. In addition, I give post cards and bookmarks away that have the title of my books and matching illustrations. In addition, I usually wear a blouse that matches the colors on my butterfly book. Sarah has paid for our booth.
